Notes

Only CO 144 sts (12 less than called for in pattern). I found Kiese’s notes very useful!

I used single skeins of different cotton yarns all more or less the same weight left over from other projects, so I would say this is a good stash-busting project.

To keep proportions, for every triangle, I only add (and remove) 18 sts instead of 20.

01-09-2018

Finished! The hardest part has been weaving in ends! ^_^ I used 10 colours in total, and knit 4 rows (2 garter stitch ridges) of each colour for the final border. And I still have a little yarn left over from each colour. That gave a nice effect, but it’s a bit too much so I would recommend knitting only one ridge per colour.
I used all the tails from the border (which are all on the same side) to create little braids as I couldn’t be bothered to weave them all in.
