Notes

This garment was included by request in my simple shapes class. It is a classic chemise, cut as they have been for centuries in the European peasant style for women’s under garments. I normally use hand woven cotton or linen fabric for this garment, but I did a knit version for the class.
The class handout contained dimensions & assembly instructions, no stitch charts, c/o amounts or other specifics. (I am wearing a handwoven version in the bottom photo.)
This garment made shorter makes a great ‘retro hippie chick’ peasant blouse, too. (I’m doing one in black for my secret, hidden ‘gothy’ side…)
