1st Place in the 2008 Mid State (CA) Fair! Woot.

So far, I’ve only decided the yarn for the body and have made the two arms.

Pattern writer is FUNNY and I love it!

Will decide on other colors as I go and will update when it’s all done.

Comments:
Although I put a package of beads in the bottom, I think I stuffed the legs too much because it doesn’t sit up the way I anticipated.

Followed the first part of the top instructions, but didn’t really understand the explanation when it came to straps & bind-offs so I did my own thing (shocker, I know, LOL) Did my own thing on the bow as well. Sweater & bow made from leftover angora I had from my avatar project and bow is also some sort of shiny weird Tahki yarn.

Final note - either I totally missed something in the pattern (which is entirely possible) or at some point on the body & head instructions, increases & decreases didn’t jibe with each other in terms of location.

Overall, I really liked knitting this - it’s so nice to do a toy IN THE ROUND for a change! Even though it’s still in pieces, it’s better than being knit flat, trust me.

I would not suggest this pattern for a new knitter necessarily, but anyone adventurous or with a bit of experience in making their own decisions.

Miss Kitty Boo-Boo F%&K (gotta be a Kevin Smith fan to get that) will be submitted to the 2009 Mid-State Fair (San Luis Obispo County, California).
