A girl from my local knit/crochet group is having her first baby. The person who sets up the meeting is having a shower. I wanted to get this finished for the shower on 3/25.

Yeah…about that. I forgot in the 8 1/2 years since knitting my last EZ pattern why I don’t tend to knit her patterns. I feel like our brains don’t work the same way. Spent too much time ripping back for such a simple project…

I am grateful that people have created line by line cheat sheets. It is the only way that gets me through the pattern.

Liking the yarn with the pattern. I think the finished project is nice. But just wishing I had picked a pattern that was more straight forward so this would be done in time.

I feared I would be boxing it up on the needles to give to the Mother-to-Be with a note that it will be finished before the baby is born in May. But I eeked it out on the day of the shower.
