12/24/09 — Final (post-block) measurements are 7.5” wide by 76” long. w00t! [img]
12/23/09 — Finished! Length is around 64 inches. (Ran out of yarn.) I’ve blocked it and now I’m just waiting for it to dry. Will take measurements tomorrow when it’s all ready :)
12/17/09 — Scarf is now 52 inches long. Boyfriend tried it on to see how length is working for him… Looks like I’ll need to add at least another 10 inches. Almost finished!
12/15/09 — Busted out 11 inches on the needles today. The scarf is now 36 inches long. Only 2 more feet to go! Then I will block it and hopefully get it to 5.5’ or 6’ long. (Boyfriend says he doesn’t want it too long… so we’ll see what happens.)
12/14/09 — Knitted in the car to work and back… and the scarf is at 25 inches now.
12/13/09 — Length is now 20 inches. Only another 50 or so to go! I’m hoping once I’ve finished all my school assignments, I’ll be able to finish this scarf in one afternoon.
12/12/09 — The scarf has grown another 4-5 inches. It’s exciting! (It’s now up to 14-something inches in length.)
12/11/09 — Spent 4 or so hours altogether today on this scarf. Yesterday’s stitches were cast on too tightly so I decided to give today’s knitting a little give. As such, some of the rows came out uneven … especially since I decided to tighten things up toward the end. Hopefully, by the end of this project, the scarf will be relatively even, width-wise. I also wound the skein of yarn into a center-pull ball. [img]
12/10/09 — It took me way too many tries to get this thing started. I kept casting on 36 stitches but ending up with 38 after a couple of rows. Finally, I got it right. I knit 8 rows before I called it a night. (I started late.) [img]
