Gauge:

• 11 sts x 17 rows = 4” in double seed stitch
• 23-stitch cable panel = 6” wide

Since my gauge was larger than the pattern’s I made some changes to the stitch and row counts.

For the front I cast on 70 sts instead of 79 sts. I worked the double seed stitch panels over 8 sts instead of 11 sts. I worked 48 rows/8 pattern repeats/11” long.

For the backs I picked up 31 sts along the front edges instead of knitting them separately.

For the button bands I knit 7 rows of rib and worked the buttonholes on row 4, using YO buttonholes instead of bound off buttonholes: rib 9, k2tog, yo, rib 8, k2tog, yo, rib 10.

I crochet slip stitched the seams from the WS.

I used a 12” x 22” pillow form from Hobby Lobby.

I used two 1.25” buttons from Hobby Lobby.
