Gauge:

• 18 sts x 26 rnds = 4” in stockinette
• 18 sts x 26 rnds = 4” in moss stitch
• 35-stitch cable panel = 5.5” wide

I knit the rib 2.25” long instead of 1.5” long to accommodate my row gauge being smaller than the pattern’s.

If I were to knit this again I would cast on 84 sts for the rib instead of 88 sts because I like my hats pretty snug.

The hat was 10.5” long off the needles but shrank down to 10” long after washing.

I made a 3.5” pom-pom using my Clover pom-pom maker.
