Notes

-- Row 44: k2, bo2, k1, m1, k2, (m1, k5) until 7 sts remain, m1, k2, m1, k5 - (201 sts)
-- Row 45: (do not bind off if you are planning on adding sleeves, put those sts on waste yarn or a stitch holder) k36, bo35, k61, bo35, k32, co2, k2 - (133 sts)
-- Place Front right and Front left sts on waste yarn or stitch holders.
-- ishi’s Short-row shaping on back: with new yarn start on WS and knit 8 rows of stockinette ending on RS. Cut yarn and put front sts back on needles.
-- Row 46: k5, p31, co20, k61, co20, p31, k5 - (173 sts)
-- Row 69 (approx 3.5” from armpit): k45, m1, k2, m1, k79, m1, k2, m1, k41, co2, k2 - (177 sts)
-- Row 115 (approx 10.5” from armpit): started garter stitch
-- Row 135: last row of garter stitch border - bind off after finishing row 135

SLEEVES:
-- P/U 36 on sleeve cap; P/U 28 on back and under arm
-- knit 12 rows of twisted rib
-- knit 1 round, purl 1 round, bind off

BUTTONHOLES: I messed up my button hole spacing at the beginning b/c I forgot I was adding buttons all the way down. My second button hole is actually 14 rows down from the first.
-- 2 row button holes started on wrong side (per pattern); 10 rows apart (e.g.: button hole rows 68/69, next button hole rows 80/81)

04/14/10 - Finally picked up buttons at Mew Mew’s today. This baby is all done! I love it!

03/27/10 - Knitting done and blocking now! I decided to rip out the sleeves because it was pooling really bad. I’m went with ishi’s short sleeves. Now I just need to find buttons.

03/16/10 - So…I’m not sure I’m done. The body is done but I wanted sleeves. I only have one skein, 150yds left. How much can I get out of that? Maybe I’ll look for buttons in the meantime…

03/14/10 - I’m just past the bust line. I was planning on adding sleeves but it doesn’t look like I’ll have enough yarn.

03/13/10 - This is my fourth Shalom. I will be modifying this for worsted weight yarn. Wish me luck!
