I always wanted to make a granny blanket, this one is an extra special one.

I followed this granny square pattern, but I ch2 in the corners, and ch1 in between clusters. I also attached the new yarn a little diff, I sl st with the old yarn all the way to the corner, attached the new yarn by drawing a loop (with the new yarn) through the old yarn, and weaving the extra yarn while crocheting. I followed this method for connecting the squares while crocheting them.

I used 9 diff colors: white, light brown, mid-brown, dark-brown, teal, green, yellow, orange and red.

Each square is aprox 5” x 5”, and weighs 12 g. • You can see my design on the last picture.

Final size: 31” x 19”.
