I’ve chosen a deep charcoal heather yarn with matte black glass beads. Here’s hoping my eyesight doesn’t fail.

Oct. 1 - finish half of the first repeat of chart A. Two beaded rows complete. It’s a very subtle palette I’ve chosen!

Oct. 3 - ripped out what I had done, didn’t like how the edging was working out. Shall try again!

Oct. 6 - OK, I’ve started again and have finished one and a half repeats of chart A. Will probably still be finishing the first clue when the second comes out, but shouldn’t be too far behind. Looks much better this time around.

Oct. 8 - second clue has been released (have yet to print it off), have finished two repeats of chart A for first clue, one more to go, then I’ll get started on that second clue.

Oct. 13 - finished first clue, started second.

Oct. 15 - half-finished second clue. Chugga-chugga-chug!

Oct. 18 - finished second clue. Onwards!

Oct. 19 - took some snaps - looks like part of a Blackbeard costume.

Oct. 21 - finished third clue - finally caught up! Shall start final clue tomorrow.

Oct. 29 - working my way through the cast off - it seems to be going on forever!!

Oct. 30 - Finished! Now off to be blocked! Photos soon.

This was an interesting project, but I think I prefer working a pattern where I can see the result for which I’m aiming.
