I found Round 4 very hard to understand. After studying the close up of the central motif and the directions given for round 4, here’s my record of what I did (in as standard terms as I can manage):
Round 4: slip stitch into first 1ch space, 5ch (counts as first dtr), 1dtr, 5 ch, dtr2tog all in first ch space, skip next chain space dtr2tog, 5ch, dtr2tog in next chain space, repeat from around, slip stitch into 5th ch of first 5ch (first dtr).
This is not quite the same as what I believe the designer was trying to explain, but I’m happy it’s close enough.

I had to spin another 100g when I ran out a few rounds short of finishing, so I frogged that (100g, navajo plied, would’ve been plenty if I’d Andean plied) and re-did with 100g I spun and plied from center-pull so 2ply.
Now, what I want to know is, how come when I plan to felt stuff it won’t felt easily and when I don’t want stuff felted (like this vest) it felts as soon as it detects any moisture at all :-( It is not badly felted and didn’t shrink too much, so I just focus on loving it how it is.
