I’m happy that I just fulfilled a promise to my daughter to knit for her a light green summer scarf. It’s not easy to be a mother of a very fussy girl. She should be pleased, Nicole, my knitting buddy said, and I should add: “…or else!”

Light as air. Smooth as …silk. Green like moss. And very long, 80” long, 9” wide.
I used up the whole skein less a bit more than 2 yards of this gorgeous yarn.

Sarah chose the color. I did all the work…again. And I will miss knitting this scarf while watching “Waking the Dead”.

Mom20’s Aria Delicato inspired me and Diana helped me a lot in insisting on wet blocking this scarf. I did it gently with blocking wires.
