The pattern is very clear and easy to follow even if you don’t know Japanese. Highly recommend. First you make the body - it is done sideways in one piece. Then you pick up stitches for sleeves and knit them straight.
There is only one size but using bigger or smaller size needles or thicker/thinner yarn you can easily adapt it. The sleeves are supposed to be tight - at first I wanted to make them in ribs as well, but then changed my mind because to do so I had to recalculate all the numbers. The stitch pattern is clever - all ribbing with decreases and increases - not too boring to knit and looks great (if I may say so myself). I was particularly impressed at how it all came together after seaming.
The yarn became very soft and airy after washing. The top is roomy but not bulky, perfect for the summer weather.
