1/16/20 Was able to get a nice flat neck in blocking. Love this result.

1/15/20 Blocking.

1/13/20 Not going to rip the neck. All that rib would be too bulky. One sleeve done and the whole thing is darling!

1/7/20 Going to cut the neck and reknit with rib. Even the heavily decreased funnel neck rolls, though now it’s a good width and won’t itch my neck.
Sooo, I’ll do the wider neck on smaller needles (US9) in 1 x 1 rib or twisted rib, Whichever one it is it will match the hem which I am about to start.
If I did not keep ripping and redoing, this thing would be flying off the needles.

12/23/19 Frogged again, as the neck was too wide. I am now using a personal sweater as a prototype. I took measurements and I am going to reproduce it as best I can.

12/20/19 I frogged Turtle Dove because I would never have been able to live with the itchy neck. I recast on for a wide. funnel neck pull and am very loosely following the marvelous Turtle Dove pattern by Espace Tricot. In short, I am winging it. fingers crossed.
