Using discontinued Rowan Summer Tweed that I picked up at a sale. The cable rows are a bit tight to knit and I’m worried I’ve got a few too many large holes as a result of my yarn-overs, but I do like the construction of this jumper and how the sleeves are created through the increases. We’ll see how it turns out. I’m not sure I’m using the ideal yarn for this, but it seems to be working out so far.

It’s done and is blocking. I wouldn’t do cabling with this yarn again - it was very squeaky and tight to pull. At one point the yarn actually broke and I had a panic moment trying to pick up and secure stitches several rows down. It’s quite a small top but it’s growing with the blocking and I’m hoping the nature of this yarn will keep it stretched and a little longer than the original crop top.
