Notes

Loved this pattern when I saw it at Stitches East and decided to give it a whirl since I haven’t ever knit a sweater sideways before.

In pictures here on Ravelry where a baby is wearing the sweater, the sleeves are all rolled up and seem long in relation to the body. So I decided to work the sleeves following the smallest size, but worked the body following the middle size (mostly).

The construction is very straightforward and this is not a difficult pattern to knit. But I probably would not recommend it for a new knitter because basic things (such as how to work seed stitch, or the importance of keeping a selvedge stitch for seaming at the edges) are not explained. (Maybe they are in the book, but I purchased this as a stand-alone pattern at Stitches East.)
