Notes

Finished! With a pink lace dress and bloomers, then an amazingly bling cape!
So sweet and once again, a delight to knit.
The little scarf is just a garter stitch triangle…
CO 2, then increase 1 every 2nd row by K1, yarn over (which keeps the increases on one side of the scarf only). Decrease after it’s about the right size by K1, yarn over, K2tog. It looks a little different but I haven’t noticed it since, so I’m sure it doesn’t matter.
I didn’t read the pattern correctly and just carried on as if I was knitting the Fair Isle dress, so instead of sleeve caps, I have crocheted a little picot edge.
I don’t remember the name of the cloak yarn. It’s mightily soft and gorgeous. Trying to press it, though, I frizzled it and had to laboriously cut back and redo the bottom. The pattern is based on Morgan Wallace’s Red Hood (link above).
So snow girl!
Now for the jumper (sweater) and pants for Nordic skiing.
