I’m using Roller Skate as the main color and black as the contrast.

Now, knowing this, I still started knitting the cuff with the colors reversed. I didn’t realize it until I was on the second set of ribbing. Rip!

I had problems with the leg chart, even after finding the errata on the pattern’s Ravelry page. I ended up doing stitches 1-53 two times, taking out stitches 14-15 and 51-52 each repeat for a total of 98 stitches at the beginning of the leg chart.

Once I was past the heel turn, I photocopied the sock chart (not knee sock chart) and the bottom of the foot chart onto one page. That helped a lot. For the top of the foot, I used the sock chart and then had a couple black stitches on each end. It was easy to follow because the pattern was already established from the leg.

I don’t think I’ve ever done a two-color heel, and I’ve definitely never done a stranded foot. I like it!
