Using HYMagic’s notes for guidance, as I love how the fit of hers turned out.

3/1/2012: OK so you would think I never knitted raglan sleeves before. It took me 3 starts before it sunk in that the directions for round 2 were saying it’s a non-increase row. Got that now. Almost done with the raglan increases & first chart A.

Went down to size 7US needle to get gauge.

3/2/2012: raglan increases done. Took it off the needles for a fitting & to decide on size A or B. Going to go with size A since it seems like a good fit. (I tend to knit things too big)

3/3/2012: knitted to the beginning of the rib belt section. Want to try this in before doing any more of the body. So I’m gong to work on the sleeves next then return to the main dress.

Sleeves finished…. easy peasy

3/4/2012: After the decrease round. Worked 10 rounds instead of 5 before begining the belt section to accommodate my boobs. Knitting the rib belt section with a size 6US needle (as per Jasika) so the waist cinches in and is more form fitting to my figure. Difference in stitches is microscopic but just enough to do what I need.

5/9/2012: working on the skirt section. I’m only doing 8 increases instead of 9 because I don’t need the skirt as wide as the pattern indicates. I will be making it longer than the recommended 18”. I have a long body & legs & need the extra length for proper coverage.

5/10/2012: replaced the sewed hem with 2 inches 2x2 ribbing

5/11/2010: weaving in the ends & knitting the belt, then must dive into my button box to find the perfect button for this.

Done done done & it fits!!!! YAY so happy with this!!!
