My daughter and I are working on several scarves to be donated to “Handmade Especially for You”
Handmade Especially For You is Leslye Borden’s project. Leslye collects and distributes handmade scarves to abused women in shelters… because they were brave enough to leave their abusive situation… it is given as as a sign of support and love. It is amazing what one scarf can do.

Each scarf made for Leslye’s project is like a warm “hug”. Each scarf is tied with a ribbon and has a note signed by the comfort scarf maker, showing that someone cares deeply enough to make a beautiful and very special gift.
