Love love love this pattern!!!

Yarn: very soft & nice to work with BUT both skeins were chopped into too many pieces… 1st skein: 6 pieces; 2nd skein 5 pieces & lots of 1 thread connections that I had to cut & join. This just aggravated me.

Tweeted about it & was told by Berroco to take it back to the yarn store I purchased it at for a replacement. Well I don’t remember which store I bought it at, so can’t do that. Guess I just have to deal with defective yarn, Berroco didn’t give any other suggestions or offer to replace themselves.

Scarf finished… It’s quite a bit shorter than I would like due to cutting out the damaged yarn & all the joins but it’s usable. Now to weave in all the ends.

Updates:
• Berroco gave me an email address to send my issue to. Scarf is already finished, but if it can help with quality control, it’s worth it.

• Customer service got back to me & indicated that the skeins I have are not the norm for their quality control.

• Berroco offered to me replacement yarn so that I can see for myself that they do have higher standards & that these skeins were a fluke. This company totally rocks!!

• Changing the yarn rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. The two replacement skeins Berroco sent me were perfect. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren’t for those first two skeins being so hinky.
