03.17.2013 - One stripe done.

03.18.2013 - Two stripes done, and I’m quite happy with the colorway choices.

03.20.2013 - Four stripes done, and I’m really loving this pattern. It’s quite quick to memorize and I’m already thinking about making another.

03.21.2013 - Five stripes done.

03.23.2013 - Seven stripes done.

03.24.2013 - Eight stripes done, and I’ve got 66.5 grams of stove pipe left. I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll be able to get 12 stripes out of this yarn.

03.25.2013 - After nine stripes, I had 55.5 grams (11 grams used for stripe 9), but after ten stripes, I have only 38.5 grams left. So, stripe ten took 17 grams. It turns out, I may only have enough yarn for eleven stripes. We’ll see…

03.26.2013 - I have 19 grams left after eleven stripes, so I used 19.5 grams for stripe 11. Using this logic, stripe 12 would take 20+ grams of yarn. So, like many before me, I’ll only get 11 stripes. Oh well, at least I’m on to the border now!

03.28.2013 - I’ve knit about 2” of the border so far. These rows are pretty long, by the way.

03.30.2013 - I’m done! Well, it needs to be blocked, and the ends need to be addressed, but the knitting is done!! Finished the last row and used JSSBO for a nice stretchy edge. I’m leaving town for a week, so ends and post-blocking photos will be posted after that.
