as the way written in the pattern seems to be very tight and slightly uneven.

I increased to 425 stitches before starting the lace which gives 25 pattern repeats.

I ran out of cream yarn (all 400 yds of it) and so I worked the last 2 rows of the lace in the grey (had 15 inches of cream left over). I also worked a row of single crochet along the straight edge to neaten it up.
