So…I had a secret mission involving finding a crochet amigurumi zero. Now…This pattern is actually my favorite so far, so instead of using a crochet one I am adapting this knit one to crochet.

I wanted to attempt 2 heads though…the original and one with an open mouth. I needed to get this done on a time limit, so I haven’t gotten around to the other head version yet.

I originally adapted this for my Tim Burton Swap, in order to create an amigurumi zero kit for my partner. Due to unforseen circumstances, she had to drop out. I felt about about that, so I sent her the prototype along with a few other goodies that I couldn’t use for my new partner.

The kit itself, however, did go on to my new partner Mudbug, because she said she wanted to learn amigurumi. She already crochets, and this is a pretty easy pattern without a lot of complicated stitches. I’ve included a size D crochet hook as well as US 3 dpn so that she can choose to take a go at the original knit pattern or my crochet adaptation.
