Notes:
Using 3.75 mm for drape and coverage, and knitting L to account for smaller gauge (see swatch notes below).
Adding 2 stripes to account for difference between upper bust and full bust. Instead of round 9, I knit round 39 pattern, then continued with round 9 next stripe.
After washing the body, I ended up with less length and more width. 30 rows and 19 stitches to 4 inches, which is gauge although I was knitting on 3.75 mm needles and making a L when I only needed a M.
Top is size M. I did the sleeve provisional cast on for M, decreased at underarms the first 3 rows and put 12 stitches on waste yarn instead of 8 to get to M numbers.
Sleeves - added 2 stitches each side so 64. Also added 6 rows MC and 6 rows of CC (3 stripes) before icord bind-off.
I-cord - used body needles (3.75 mm) for bind-off for bottom hem and sleeves, and went down to 3.5 mm needles for top.
Project Gauge: 19 st. and 30 rows = 4 inches.
Swatched with 3.5, 3.75 and 4 mm needles.
Gauge washed and dried
20 stitches on 4 mm
21 stitches on 3.75 mm (green in the swatch picture)
22 stitches on 3.5 mm
Yarn used:
The total sweater weights 273 grams. I had some leftover from my 3 CCs, but as I didn’t weigh after swatching, I don’t have accurate weights, except for the turquoise. Used less than 4 skeins of the MC.
