Inspiration for the colour combination - from the first photograph here - I took this as I was flying back to Toronto from the US - it was winter and we were just coming into land…
The second photo is from Niagara Falls in March 2014 - again the colours stayed with me - so when I found the Manos Del Uruguay in Knitty City in April I had to buy it.
It has not had to wait too long in stash to be used, since Mrs Crosby colours are amazing… I did have a hard time deciding on the third colour - Crème Fraiche or Greystone - but these photo’s show where the inspiration comes from. I used Manos on one of the edges as that really shows the snow/ice feeling I was going for.
