WHAT a pretty pattern. My goodness did I have fun with this! It’s intense for sure, but worth the effort. My two cents: pay close attention to front and back loop directions.

I ended at 9 1/2” with the pattern. I’m a very tight crocheter, so this always happens. To get to size I did a repeat of previous rows minus the corner treatment, and then added a row of sc and a row of hdc. I added a row of surface crochet to get my additional color (bluebell) in closer to the center, it was an afterthought color.
