Notes

10-24-11
This is actually the date the sweater was finished and ready to wear. (I had some trouble. You can read about it here and here.) I am very happy with it now that it has been “saved”!

10-12-11
Finished knitting the sweater. It fits well. I blocked it by hand-washing and laying it out to dry.

09-22-11
The body of sweater is finished. I hand-washed it to block it. It fits well. I will start the sleeves soon.

09-17-11
The body is finished. I started to work the lace pattern at the bottom instead of ribbing, but I did not like it. I think that I will add ribbing to the sleeves.

07-09-11
I started this sweater with my very special Handwerks So-Soft DK (see more about my yarn in a recent blog post.)
I chose a top down style in order to learn more about this type of top-down-and-seamless construction. It is quite different from a yoke or raglan top with body and sleeve tubes.

(I eventually donated this to charity. I liked it for a while, but then not so much.)
