I finally finished these socks after a considerable break between each sock (why is it so difficult to start that second sock?!) I am SO THRILLED with my first ever pair of socks - they came out beautifully and are incredibly comfortable. Such a beautiful pattern by Eunny that I am grateful to have knit.

I haven’t hand knit socks before, as they have never quite appealed to me, but since I am in need of a few pairs of socks, plus I have some beautiful fine merino in my stash, I decided to go for it.

This pattern looks ideal, since the stitch is really pretty and detailed, suiting this lovely rounded merino that I am working with. I am enjoying the dimension that ktbl provides. Watch this space!
