12/1/2012 - This is a design growing out of yarn inspiration. Unfortunately, I ran out of yarn. I ran out with only about an inch of sleeve and the peplum bottom to finish, but I most definitely cannot finish this coat in the originally inspiring yarn. Today I am resigning myself to the fact that I will have to buy new yarn in sufficient quantity to make the coat in my head a reality. Of course, now I’m a little tired of the Rowan felted tweed and considering moving to a new color and type all together. The silver lining - I can micro-tune the shaping so the finished prototype should be truly a finished design and not require the usual tweaking.
