I bought this yarn about 5 years ago, and never got around to making my mitts, till now!

I did 12 rows of the wrist ribbing, 26 rows of the body and 5 rows of the finger edge ribbing, which allows you to cast off on the wrong side. My tan color was done in groups of 4 rows and the blue was groups of 2 rows.

I will say that because I used worsted redheart, the gloves are kinda bulky and stiff, I have larger hands and this yarn wears like iron, and I like it, so it works for me. My hand is a little over 7” from the tip of my middle finger to the bottom of my thumb joint, and about 3” across the underside of my hand knuckles - all measured by laying my hand on top a ruler.

If you don’t sew the top of edge of your glove up enough, your hand will ride up, letting your fingers ride out of your glove, and I want mine in the glove.
