Notes

First, I used nearly all my 2oz ball of yarn on this!

I let this sit awhile because I couldn’t get satisfied with how it finished. I kept having trouble getting the edge to look right to me…. I tried a seed stitch, and it didn’t look right either. Finally, I just bound off with the right side facing me as I worked, turned it over, and took a G hook and did a sc thru the 0 forming the stitch in the last row, all the way thru from front to back. hmmmmmmm… now the top is fanned out really bad from too many stitches, so I ripped it out and tried sc, ch, sc, let’s see how this works….. OK, I redid it with the sc,ch,sc and skipping a stitch between the sc and it’s better. It’s still kind of full on the edges, but I already have the edges stretched out, so who knows what it would look like if I’d done this first - maybe no over full edging. No idea what happens when I wash it either.
UPDATE: It got even more dense when washed and dried, and I think it would make a very good potholder, as it is soooo thick.
