Hook size#7USA. The pattern calls for #70 thread and #14 hook, but I used #10 thread and #7 hook. It came out about 5” tall and 6” wide.

I made 6 petals in my flowers by doing the ch 1, sl st, ch 1 until there were 6. I made 3 extra flowers for the top edges of the skirt and the hat.

New Idea In Aug 2015! One day I was sorting thru my doilies and this gal and this one (http://web.archive.org/web/20080115065159/http://www.ange...) fell side by side, and I realized if I had them both (pic 2), then I could do this (pic 3) !!!!
