FIN RND 13
Re-start Feb 15, 2016, but it has taken me until May 21 to be able to understand the end of rnd 13 and where things fall in 14. There were many false starts.

I don’t know if it was just me, but ending rnd 13 as the others have ended, seemed to throw me off somehow. I end rnd 13 with sc in loop, ch 4, sc in loop, and start trp cl in first tr of shell for rnd 14.

Afther finishing each group/shell full of tr cl, when you start the first of the next shell, it will not appear to meet together like you think it should, don’t worry about that.

Do not use the beg tr cl until told to. The 2 stitches you skip after your 9th tr cl is the last tr in the shell you are working on, and a sc in the upcoming loop - both from the previous rnd.

Finish the last 9 tr cl, make your sc into the loop and end by slip st into the top of the first tr cl.

READY FOR RND 18.

During the part of the doily where the webbing is worked between the pineapples, I just couldn’t follow the instructions. I just made sure that for each set of tr cl I started with a ch 4 and approached the next set of tr cl with a ch 4. The webbing between was a sc in a loop with ch 4 on each side of it - however many loops you are up to, just keep ch 4 and sc into loop.

I’m on the last 2 rnds, and still look at the instructions and go ‘huh?’ I’m just totally faking it by now.

Soooo… on rnd 22 I kept all loops at 4ch, instead of switching to 3ch for the top of the points. I figured I’d forget what I was doing anyway, so it would be easier to just keep the same number.

On rnd 23, I did decided to make the ch at the top of the points 6ch, to make a more showy tip. As I came to the finish, I had no idea where it finished at, and had to just stop about in the middle of the webbed loops, for lack of a better idea. It looks okay, though, no worries.

I got 14” across, from point to point - ironed from the back on a thick towel, with spray starch -not blocked.
