One day project, started & finished Jan 19, 2008. This is #12 Seed Stitch Heart from “Dishcloths from the Heart” by Evelyn A. Clark (LA). I used Sugar n Cream color Hot Purple and #8(USA) needles. Be sure that you do use the #8 needles, as I tried some before with #7 needles and they came out all wadded up looking. They really need the larger needles for the designs to lay flat. I did add 2 rows into the top and bottom of the border and 2 rows into the top and bottom of the plain part of the body (that’s 4 rows added) because dishcloths always shrink in height. I also made the border seedstitch instead of garter stitch. The picture doesn’t do it justice :(
