FACEBOOK THREADIES SEPT 2015 CAL

Rnd 4 sneaks in a cluster made from 2 triples over 2 loops, and doesn’t quite tell you it is a cluster till it’s done. Here’s my re-write, should you also get confused:

RND 4 RE-WRITE: Ch 3, tr in next loop, * ch 8,
(2 tr cl instructions next, worked over 2 loops) tr in same loop keeping last loop of st just made on hook, tr in next loop keeping the last loop of that st on hook also. Thread over and pull thru all 3 remaining loops to complete cluster. repeat from * 10 times, ch 8, join in tr that was part of the first loop in this rnd.

-Tip: Right after you make the ch 8, and you go to put the 1st part of the tr cl into the loop, right beside the last tr cl leg - BE SURE YOUR LOOP IS ROUND, NOT DIAMOND SHAPED. It is easy to do the ch 8 and then get confused and try to put it beside another tr that is in a diamond shaped loop - that is NEW rnd, go down lower to the next round loop to the left, that is the previous rnd that you need to be crocheting into. RND 5 RE-WRITE: Ch 7, tr in same space,
* ch 3, sc in next loop, ch 3. (tr, ch 3, tr) in next tr cluster, repeat from * 10 times, ch 3, sc in next loop, ch 3, join in 4th st of ch 7.

RND 8: after sl st into the tr, sl st into the ch also, or you will lose the spc when you sc into the next tr. I couldn’t keep track of the sequence at the end, but when you see you only have 1 set of ch 7 left to end, STOP and instead do the ch 3 with a trp joined into the first sc to end the rnd, which puts you in the middle of the loop for the next rnd.

RND 11: TURN OFF THE TV! You are going to have to pay close attention. This rnd is hard to follow at first read, but just remember you are making clusters, separated by ch3 that sc into the chains. The 5 trps will always be in the center st of the middle ch 7 grp. The 3 tr will always be in the center sc over the 3 (of 5) tr cluster of the prev rnd. So, it alternates between 5trpls in the middle ch 7 loop and 3trpls over the previous rnd 5trp grp. The trpls are separated by ch 3 that sc into the loops between the trp groups. SEE PIC.
