Ship’s Wheel by Hartmut Hass from:
House of White Birches, World’s Finest Doilies: Collectible Doily Series Binder, section “Five Hour Doilies”. (NOT!)
I didn’t do what they said on the last (16th) loop of rnd 1. It looked to big. So I did 2 ch and joined with dc to 2ch of first loop.
RND 3 5 CH FOR BEG DTRP
RND 7: I confess to not having exactly counted those sc stitches, and now I’m just centering the 5sc over the dt in the center, so that the center of one falls below the 3rd sc st and there are 2 sc on each side of the top of the dt bobble(white in your pic)
Left off in the middle of rnd 9, as in hospital Mar 27- Apr 2, and not enough brains to think when I came out. Now 4-22-19, will give it a try and see how I do….WOW, just started back in the middle of rnd 9 and made one 4dtr cluster, and compared it to the ones done, and realize they were only triples! So glad I found this out before doing a whole rnd and then the next rnd should match them, and it would be all wrong in size! So, all out and a fresh start for rnd 9. These come in set, that look like 2 leaves. I’m finding I can only do one set at a time of the dtr clusters, while I had no trouble doing quite a few of the dbl clusters… oh well… best to protect the hand.
5-20-19 Found pattern again and start back in on rnd 10.
8-17-19 Finally finished! I’ve worked on it just a little here and there, as I just felt a little worried about the outer rings. I did find my count was off, but it was easy to fudge the numbers and all came out well in the end. Blocking now, photo tomorrow!
