Mon, Jan 21, 2019: I had stopped working on this because the head piece had a larger opening than the body piece and that seemed backward to me. I could never figure out why, as they both had the same rnd 1 count. Last night I realized the picots were much larger on the head piece, so the circle was not as close together. So today I started another head piece, and there should be 14 rings… and I’m finding I’m making it too tight, and I can only squeeze in 10-11 rings. Back to look at the “too big” one..and I think if I fold a few rings together, it might actually work. I have a small motif that was part of something else I never finished, and it looks good on her head, and I’m trying different tiny buttons on it. Looking promising.
I still have the circle I made today, to make something else with.
FEB 20, 2019: I finally stopped my procrastination and took the last remaining steps to sew the felt to the picots and the sequens on. I was going to frame her, but she wanted me to wait, because she believes there may be others that come along, and they could all be in the same frame - I like how she thinks!
