MY NOTES:
Rnd 5: moved dc over to the R dc to define the filet type hole.

Rnd 6: ch 3 (DC in ch2 spc & next dc)2x
(ch2, skp spc & dc in next dc)2x
dc in each dc & ch spc till there’s 4 more dc & you’ve reached an open square that is aligned with a column of open squares.

Row 10: there are 6 DC (ch3 & 5dc)

EDGING: In the area between the points where it says to do ch5, picot, ch2 - I fin with ch3 to better center my picots. Only the first one was a ch2, and I decided it was off and changed the next one. The first one that only has 2ch after the picot is at the bottom of the pic, see the rest with ch3 all look better!

This would look neater if I had grabbed a size 7 hook, but I grabbed a larger one by accident and the stitches are looser and picots are not as nice as they could have been. :(

Pay attention as you finish the picot on the top of each point and after a few sc down the side, go back and look at it to make sure it really is in the center.
