The pattern is written to lay flat, I think the knitcrosheen actually is kind of like feeling elastic material, and it has a tendancy to feel springy on me (I don’t know how it treats others!) Anyway, I probably could have ironed it flat, on the back side, but didn’t want to risk burning the little plastic gold filament, and I actually LIKE the way it has dimension, like a real starfish, so I kept it like this :)

Hook size 7 USA. I used metallic knit-cro-sheen in a champagne like color with a gold sparkle. The old balls that I got off ebay do not have names of colors on the label.

Notes & corrections to pattern:

(just a note) RND 1 has 20dc, counting the ch3 (ch3 + 19dc)

(changed from 2 to 3) RND 4: Ch3. (3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch2 sp. Sk 3 dc.

RND 5 - How it’s written:
RND 5: Ch3. (3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch2 sp. Sk 3 dc. Dc in next dc. Ch3. Sc in next dc. Ch3.)

How I think it should be:
RND 5: Ch3. (3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch2 sp. Sk 3 dc. Dc in next dc. Ch3. Sc in next ch2 sp. Ch3.)
