Ok, so here’s the thing…. I want to teach myself to knit faster. I have been knitting for nearly 30yrs (started when I was ten) and my mum taught me the English method - which is good but I want to knit faster as I want to knit lots of stuff….
So, for this shawl, I will try the continental method of knitting. To spur me to finish the shawl, I bought fancy yarn (yummy fancy yarn).

It is so time-consuming relearning to knit. I need lots of patience.
lots & lots of patience.

and I need to wear my glasses whilst learning this method, so I can’t take this in the car.

it’s not relaxing learning a new method.
