I used a larger hook (H or I) for the top of the window covering, and a small hook for the lengths of chain so that the chains would be as tight as I could get them.

I crocheted the lengths of chain longer than was necessary and then knotted it here and there to create a more visual interest.

It is a project that does not photograph easily because it does what it is intended to do, namely, let light in and making viewing in more difficult.

It is a wonderful addition to any window that needs a covering.
