Made in honor of Marc Fucarile.
Hook: Boye
Finished Size: ~4” x 64”
This is far less complicated than it looks. Just requires careful counting!
Didn’t like the way the pattern was written so I made the motifs in a way that made more sense to me.

46 sts in blue spiral: sc, hdc, 2 dc half base and 19 2-dc clusters, dc, hdc, sc, sl st.
Swirl motif requires 2-3g of each color.
End motif requires 2-3g of yellow, 5-6g of blue.
Total round motifs needed: 16
Joining
Sew in center ends.
1: Join 12 swirl motifs in 2s (6 S motifs).
2: Join 2 swirl motifs to 2 end motifs (2 S motifs for each end).
3: Join 6 S motifs (3 double S motifs).
4: Join end S motifs to 2 double S motifs.
5: Join all 3 pieces together making sure end pieces are on the ends!
Whipstitch through back loops only for 2 stitches on either side of join. This stabilizes the S so it won’t twist. Sew ends in.
