Actual instructions for how to construct the sock don’t start until page 12. I am some 35 rows into it and have just discovered that. The first pages are all charts and I thought that was all we got. Wrong. I haven’t hosed it up irredeemably, happily, but if anybody else reads this before starting to knit, this will help.

I didn’t do the cabled heel, I don’t want that in my shoes, so just did regular heel stitch. I also did the gusset increases as an underfoot arch expansion, which I prefer.
