5/14 - finished both, I’m so proud of my first pair, YAY

What I did to make them knee-highs:
CO 72 on size 4, switch to size 2 for first row
2x2 ribbing for 13 rows
42 rows of straight stockinette

K10, place marker. SSK, knit 16, K2Tog, place marker, k to end, knit 3 rows. Repeat 7 more times, with SSK and K2tog the first and last 2 stitches between new markers. (56 sts)

K40 rounds after the last decrease.
K1, M1, knit to one within marker, m1, k1, k to end
K one round
Repeat last 2 rounds
K1, M1, K9, M1, K8, M1, K9, M1, K1 to marker. K to end of round
K one round.
Start heel flap.

After last heel turn decrease, K 43 rows before toe.
