This cardigan is a modified and improved version of my Rhapsody in Grey cardigan. I added some cabled side seams to Honey Ale cardi.
I have been wearing this cardigan for 2 years now and it is one of my favorite designs :-)) Finally some pictures :-)
The reason it took so long to photograph is because I was hoping to write a pattern for it. However, various life and health challenges interfered and now, 2 years later, even that I did write the pattern for my sample size, I just do not see it is worth spending anymore time on this project. The market is over saturated with patterns and taking into consideration how much time goes into cardigan pattern writing and test knitting, I feel I just cannot afford to spend that much time on a pattern that at the end most likely will be lost in a sea of other patterns. More importantly, there are some other priorities in my life right now that I must spend my time on at the moment and as much as I would love to finish this pattern, I just have to let it go. I will continue to focus on smaller designs like shawls for the time being. :-)
The yarn is just perfect for cardigans. It is soft, but sturdy and shows the pattern perfectly. The colorway is so gorgeous. Thank you Krista :-)
