I have bought these two colors of Madelinetosh a while back and meant to use them together. I tried different patterns and ideas over the last year, but finally decided on something very simple. I love the woven effect the slipped stitch pattern gives. The shawl looks like it have been weaved, not knitted. I considered a lacy border for the shawl, but decided on simple striped one.
The shawl came out an average size, but took quite a bit of yarn. I love the result and feel this one going to get a lot of wear this Fall and Winter :-)
A pattern for “Woven” will be available after Thanksgiving :-)
