Notes

I’m not sure whether I’ll have enough yarn to complete the pattern as written, so I am going to work both lace edges first, then work as many repeats of the centre as possible. ETA: plenty of yarn in the skein!

If I work this again: in the lace edges, use a centred double decrease (sl2togkw, k1, psso) rather than the left slanting double decreased (sl1, k2tog, psso) in the pattern. The centre can get tedious, but the 12 row pattern is easy to memorize.

17/10/12: Finished both lace edges; now work the centre lace. I’ll take this to Tassie over the next few days as my travel knitting.

25/10/12: Thanks to cold germs making me extra tired, I was unable to do much knitting whilst in Tasmania. I have finished 2 lace centre repeats so far…

16/11/12: 19 lace centre repeats and plenty of yarn to go…

21/11/12: Just the graft and blocking to go! Plenty of yarn for all 31 lace centre repeats :)

23/11/12: Finished! Measurements to follow tomorrow.

Blocking measurements: 46 x 161.5 cm (18” x 63 1/2 “)
