Variegated yarn was obscuring the lace, so I pulled back to the lifeline (placed just for this reason…) and resumed with the blue. Loving it!

4 full repeats and then start gusset increases on first rnd of 5th. 17 g of blue yarn left.

It was quite the adventure finishing this pair. On the first sock, I toned down the variegated yarn in the cuff by alternating it with the blue. Then I used a sewn bind off because it is so smooth and when I get the tension just right, pretty stretchy. I then worked the second sock and ran out of blue 6 rows short of the first one.

Have you ever undone a sewn bind off? Not the easiest thing in the world. But I did get it accomplished. I attached the blue yarn from that sock directly to the second one and finished knitting it while unraveling the first. Yay!! Enough blue in the cuff to finish the second sock. Then I put both socks on a single circular needle and finished the cuffs in the variegated yarn.
