3-14-14: Late night finishing. This hat is so easy once you get past the rib! It’s lots of fun to do the fir tree cables and it knits up very quickly. Also, it’s gorgeous. I feel very proud of this one.

Not sure which color to pick -- I love this green, but the simply taupe would also be perfect.

gauge was 14.5 stitches over 3”, on size 6 needles, so I’m going to go up a bit and knit on 7 and 5
